Meet some of the amazing individuals a part of our team.
Villa Soleada Guest House Head Cook
“My family made a great effort to have what we have now. I have not left working in this kitchen since the day I have arrived… This is a great blessing for everyone. I never thought I would have a house of my own, made of concrete.”
Director of Construction
“I have worked for over 8 years and have met numerous young people from all over the world. It makes me proud to contribute a grain of sand to help educate these children that need it so much. I am happy to be able to help so many kids from different communities here in Honduras. I am very grateful to this organization and to have my two children in the Villa Soleada Bilingual School.”
“For me, even though it says ‘Students Helping Honduras’ the word that sticks in my mind, no doubt, is gratitude. Students Helping Honduras has helped in many situations where there is poverty, where education doesn’t exist, where there’s insecurity. It has put its grain of sand constructing schools, but the organization has other impact too. It is changing the lives of children, teachers, and people.”
